Marketing Description: The fi-7460 is easy to set up, use, and maintain, and comes with the user-friendly and intuitive PaperStream IP scanner driver and PaperStream Capture software for automatic, optimized batch scanning. Its 100-sheet ADF scans A4 landscape format documents in both color and black and white at up to 300 dpi at speeds of 60 sheets per minute or 120 pages per minute. The fi-7460 scans a wide variety of materials, from plastic cards and brochures to folded A1 sheets.

Intuitive indentation functions
The fi-7460 features a unique paper protection function based on acoustic sensors; iSOP (Intelligent Sonic Paper Protection) reduces the risk of document damage by using sensors to detect the sounds of moving paper and stop feeding sheets when an irregular noise occurs.

The scanner also uses an ultrasonic sensor that immediately detects multiple feeds (i.e., when two or more sheets are fed in simultaneously) and, depending on the settings, reports this as an error. Furthermore, it is equipped with an intelligent multi-feed function designed for documents with paper attachments of defined sizes or in specific locations, such as sticky notes or photos. The scanner automatically detects the location of the attachment and then disables the alarm triggers for that area.

Tilt correction ensures a straight
Paper Feed: If you are scanning mixed stacks of documents of varying thicknesses, the skew reduction prevents the physical distortion from one sheet in a mixed stack from being transferred to the next. This ensures that each document is captured with the highest precision and ease. Multi-segmented feed rollers that rotate independently of each other ensure that a document fed in at an angle does not subsequently affect the alignment of the next document.

Easy control and management
A backlit LCD control panel displays useful information such as current scanner settings, operating status, and a paper counter. Additionally, the fi-7460 is equipped with Scanner Central Admin tools, which provide system administrators with features that allow them to manage the installation and operation of multiple scanners, monitor their status, and update drivers and software from a single location. This drastically reduces costs and effort by minimizing the time and money spent setting up, operating, and maintaining multiple scanners within a company and expanding the scanner network to multiple locations.

PaperStream IP and PaperStream
The fi-7460 comes with PaperStream IP, an integrated scanner driver and image enhancement module based on TWAIN/ISIS standards. This enables user-friendly operation, intuitive high-quality image capture, and real-time processing, benefiting post-scan routines such as OCR. PaperStream Capture enhances the document capture process from adjusting scan settings, performing batch scans, and verifying data to sharing it with directories, archives, or subsequent workflows. Users can easily perform data capture through a highly intuitive graphical user interface. Scheduling scanned batches for later retrieval is also possible.

Service and support
A one-year Advance Exchange is offered as standard warranty. This service includes online support, spare parts/labor, and shipping costs. Advance Exchange also includes the delivery of a refurbished scanner as a replacement for a defective scanner.

Service upgrades are available that extend the warranty period to up to 5 years, and we also offer services such as onsite services with impressive response and repair times, accidental damage coverage, and remote desktop support.
