The highly versatile and rugged Gryphon I GM4100 series cordless linear imagers are perfectly suited for use in retail and light industrial environments where a high degree of freedom of movement is required for practical reasons. The narrowband radio with Datalogic“s STAR Cordless System™ is the key to increased productivity and flexibility in the workplace. The GM4100 series of readers offers scalable solutions from simple point-to-point applications to point-to-multipoint installations with up to 16 readers all connected to the same base station. Datalogic“s new, patented 2-position stand offers a multiple-position solution for functional requirements and where space is limited. It serves as a hands-free stand and enables simultaneous scanning and charging, keeping the device always operational for increased productivity. The GM4100“s batch mode capability allows the storage of several thousand codes. This feature, combined with a capacity of 50,000 scans per lithium-ion battery charge, ensures unlimited mobility and reliable data capture, even when the scanner is out of range of the base station. The standard multi-interface solution (GM4130) offers host connectivity via USB, RS-232, keyboard, and wand emulation, while the IBM interface models (GM4110) provide connectivity via IBM 46XX, USB, and RS-232.
