The highly versatile and robust Gryphon I GM4100 series wireless linear imagers are perfectly suited for use in retail and light industrial environments where a high degree of freedom of movement is required for practical reasons. Narrow band radio with Datalogic's STAR Cordless System™ is the key to increased productivity and flexibility in the workplace. The GM4100 reader series offers scalable solutions from simple point-to-point applications to point-to-multipoint installations with up to 16 readers all connected to the same base station. Datalogic's new, patented 2-position stand offers a multiple solution for functional needs and where space is limited. It serves as a hands-free stand and allows simultaneous scanning and charging, so the device is always ready for increased productivity. The GM4100's batch mode capability allows the storage of several thousand codes. This feature, combined with a capacity of 50K scans per lithium-ion battery charge, ensures unlimited mobility and reliable data collection, even when the scanner is out of range of the base station. The standard multi-interface solution (GM4130) provides host connectivity via USB, RS-232, keyboard and wand emulation, while the IBM interface models (GM4110) provide connectivity via IBM 46XX, USB and RS-232.
