Simple and reliable

Overland-Tandberg RDX QuikStor media feature a special shock-resistant design to ensure maximum data protection and safe handling. You can easily copy your data to the RDX media using drag and drop. Furthermore, you can integrate RDX QuikStor into your backup environment.

Mobile and versatile

RDX drives are available in internal and external versions. The external RDX USB3+ drive only requires a USB 3.0 connection to operate. This makes RDX just as easy to use as an external USB hard drive. However, RDX is significantly more robust and reliable. The RDX USB3+ is ideally suited for mobile applications, such as scientific data collection, the media and entertainment industry, field service, or simply for distributing data to different locations.

Capacity expansion and media rotation

Cross-media backup allows you to expand your backup capacity beyond a single RDX medium. All you need is backup software that supports this feature. For a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy, we recommend implementing media rotation with at least three RDX media: one medium in the drive for the next backup, a second in transit to/from the office, and a third medium in a secure, remote location.

19“ rack integration with RDX QuadPAK

The Overland-Tandberg QuadPAK Rackmount Kit offers RDX users a simple and cost-effective solution for mounting their drives in a 19“ rack. The RDX QuadPAK allows you to integrate up to four external RDX USB drives and significantly simplifies backup and restore operations.

Encryption

Software encryption is supported by all RDX drives. The new SATA III drives are prepared for hardware encryption.

Additional security

RDX WORM (Write One Read Many) media enable legally compliant archiving. Data cannot be deleted or overwritten.

Fixed Disk Mode for Windows Backup

Windows Backup in current desktop and server operating systems no longer supports removable media. This necessitates the use of external software or foregoing operating system upgrades. The RDX QuikStor“s Fixed Disk Mode allows for seamless integration with Windows Backup.
