FRITZ!Powerline 1260E turns every socket into a fast and secure gigabit network connection. Significantly more robust connections, longer ranges and higher data throughputs are achieved with Gigabit Powerline of up to 1,200 MBit/s and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology. In addition, the device provides a WLAN AC+N access point with up to 1266 MBit/s for the wireless connection of smartphones, tablets and notebooks to the home network. Gigabit class powerline
FRITZ!Powerline 1260E reliably connects network-enabled devices such as computers, televisions or game consoles over long distances in the home network via ultra-fast gigabit LAN. With networking via the power line, long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings are easily mastered. Compared to powerline adapters in the 500 and 200 Mbit/s class, FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables significantly more transmission capacity and more robust connections - with high energy efficiency. Several demanding broadband applications can thus be used at the same time.

Fast WiFi AC+N
FRITZ!Powerline 1260E expands wireless LAN in the home network at gigabit speed. The WLAN can be provided conveniently, securely and flexibly via Powerline, even in rooms that are far away from the router. The device is prepared for Mesh WiFi of an installed FRITZ!Box. With maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy connection of wireless devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and data rates of up to 866 Mbit/s (WLAN AC) + 400 Mbit/s (WLAN N), FRITZ!Powerline 1260E a lot of comfort and flexibility for wireless surfing.

Powerful 2x2 MIMO technology
FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is ideal for broadband-intensive network applications, such as the transmission of HD videos (also in 3D) as well as fast Internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connections and video on demand. Even long distances between the devices do not affect the quality of the transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology enables a range in the power grid that is up to 60% higher by using two wire pairs at the same time. If both wire pairs cannot be used at the same time, the automatic selection of the wire pair that transfers better (diversity) ensures robust Powerline transmission.

Simple and safe ex works
The outstanding thing about FRITZ!Powerline products is the individual pre-encryption ex works, which enables immediate, secure commissioning. FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is simply connected to the socket at the desired location and the device to be networked. The adapter is then securely added to the existing Powerline network at the push of a button. The connection is established with individual AES 128-bit encryption (plug & play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is compatible with current devices in the 1,200, 500 and 200 Mbit/s classes. Updates are easily made using the FRITZ!Powerline program or the FRITZ!Box user interface.
