Thanks to double-conversion technology, an APC Smart-UPS On-Line always supplies all connected devices with perfectly clean power. Even power outages have no impact. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line then automatically provides backup power without the need for switching. This prevents unwanted outages of a PC, server, storage device, or switch, for example. With the free APC PowerChute software, you can even automatically and controlledly shut down critical IT hardware when the UPS battery is almost empty. This prevents data loss, downtime, and physical damage to the hardware.
Extend the term
You can easily increase the number of minutes the APC SRT3000RMXLI can provide stand-alone backup power by connecting external battery packs (SRT96RMBP). Even several hours of runtime are possible.
Availability
The Smart-UPS Online features an internal bypass and utilizes double conversion, maximizing the availability and lifespan of the connected hardware. This makes the UPS compatible with a backup generator.
Line double conversion technology ensures a clean, uninterrupted power supply to the protected equipment, even when generator power is used.
Security
In addition, a Smart-UPS Online protects connected devices from voltage spikes caused by lightning, among other things. This APC emergency power supply is ideal for business use.
User-friendliness
The APC Smart-UPS SRT is easy to use thanks to a tilting graphic LCD screen and physical buttons. This makes it easy to set and read basic functions. Since the screen“s background color changes depending on the type of warning, you can quickly visually assess the severity of the situation. Thanks to the included 4-post rail kit, you can easily mount the UPS in a rack.
Network management card
By connecting the UPS directly to your network using the optional APC Network Management Card (AP9640/AP9641), it can be easily managed remotely via SNMP or our Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI) remote management software. You can also automatically send a shutdown signal over the network to multiple physical and/or virtual servers. Using the APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software connected to the network card, you can even differentiate between them based on the time and order of shutdown.
Extend the lifespan
The internal battery cartridge (APCRBC152) can be easily, safely, and independently replaced by the user without having to power down the APC SRT3000RMXLI or connected devices. This allows you to easily and cost-effectively extend the lifespan of the APC Smart-UPS and keep your devices online.
Warranty extension
The SRT3000RMXLI comes with a 3-year manufacturer“s warranty, except for the battery, which has a 2-year manufacturer“s warranty. Both are extended by 3 years, to 6 and 5 years, respectively, with the APC Service Pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-04).
Switched socket groups: remote restart and step-by-step start
Thanks to Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure phased/delayed startup for each UPS outlet group. This reduces the UPS“s peak load and brings it closer to the constant load, thus limiting UPS oversizing.
It“s also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outlets and the devices connected to them. Using a network card (ap9640) in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this is even possible remotely.
You also cannot eliminate critical loads; this extends the runtime of critical equipment.
