The multifunctional USB-C connector is increasingly becoming the standard for high-speed data transfer between devices in IT environments. In addition to its high transfer rate, it also offers video and audio transmission to the display, as well as power supply for a connected laptop or tablet, when used with compatible signal sources. This means only one cable remains on the desk, and the small, twist-proof connector connects in a flash. All peripherals connected to the display“s USB 3.0 hub, such as a mouse, keyboard, printer, webcam, USB flash drive, etc., are immediately available. The number of connectable USB devices can be easily expanded using separately available USB hubs.

Video and audio transmission to the display is a functional extension of the USB-C standard and uses the DisplayPort protocol. For notebooks or PCs that do not support this video transmission, the TERRA 2775W PV V3 also has a standard DisplayPort and an HDMI port. These can be used alternatively to connect additional signal sources simultaneously, and switching between them can be done with a simple key combination on the display.

Suitable smartphones or tablets can be connected directly via USB-C for spontaneous display of images, videos or data.

The third version of the TERRA 2775W PV has been enhanced with a DisplayPort output, allowing a second display (e.g., the identically designed TERRA LCD/LED 2772W PV) to be connected in a dual-monitor setup (daisy-chaining). The RJ45 LAN port provides a reliable Gigabit network connection. A single USB-C cable is still sufficient for connecting to a laptop or tablet.

The LCD panel“s IPS technology ensures top-level image quality with its high color fidelity, high contrast, and exceptionally wide viewing angles. A permanently active hardware blue light filter reduces the color spectrum, particularly in the 415 to 455 nanometer range, thus relieving eye strain in all applications without compromising the excellent color reproduction.

The WQHD resolution displays 78 percent more pixels than Full HD, resulting in outstanding image sharpness and detail. This makes the display particularly suitable for graphic applications, CAD/CAM work, and the clear presentation of extensive information in business environments. Furthermore, the extremely narrow bezels make the device ideal for multi-monitor setups, leaving only a minimal gap between desktops.

Thanks to overdrive technology and a 75 Hz refresh rate, videos and games are displayed particularly smoothly.

The display“s highly efficient power supply provides a connected notebook or tablet with up to 65 watts of power for operation and battery charging. The actual power output is constantly negotiated between the devices via USB Power Delivery. Even when the notebook or tablet is shut down and the display is in standby mode, the battery continues to charge.

For optimal audio transmission, the integrated speakers are digitally controlled via USB-C, HDMI, or DisplayPort. For undisturbed listening or connecting external speakers, the device also features a headphone jack.

The easy-care, matte black casing and the anti-reflective display surface offer maximum flexibility in terms of placement and prevent annoying reflections even in unfavorable lighting conditions.

The multifunctional stand with height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot functions allows for quick ergonomic adjustment at any workstation. Furthermore, the device can be mounted on various wall, table, or ceiling mounts using its VESA mount. For theft protection, the display features a Kensington lock slot.
