The LANCOM 18003VAW offers Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) and can simultaneously connect clients in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and modern devices in the 5 GHz band to the network, providing them with fast Wi-Fi. Dual-band concurrent Wi-Fi 6 technology enables transmission rates of up to 1,200 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 575 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band simultaneously.

WAN connectivity with VDSL supervectoring
The LANCOM 1803VAW offers full VDSL supervectoring support and is also backward compatible with VDSL2 and ADSL2+. Data rates of up to 300 Mbps are possible on existing copper lines.

With the LANCOM VPN option, you can also upgrade the device to up to 25 VPN channels, allowing the infrastructure to easily grow as needed without additional hardware.

Equipped with the LANCOM VCM (Voice Call Manager), the LANCOM SD-WAN VoIP Gateway handles classic telephony management tasks and integrates all types of telephony components, such as SIP, ISDN, and analog. The LANCOM VCM also offers standard Session Border Controller (SBC) functions, enabling secure separation of external (insecure) and internal (secure) networks. Bandwidth reservation prioritizes voice packets for high call quality (Quality of Service). Furthermore, as a SIP proxy, the VCM provides professional management of signaling and voice data for enhanced security during call setup, execution, and termination, including necessary protocol conversion via transcoding. The VoIP Gateway conveniently handles the translation between ISDN, analog, and VoIP.
