The LevelOne WAC-2013 is a Gigabit WLAN controller designed for use in medium-sized and large networks in SMEs, schools, guesthouses, hotels, and apartments. Centralized management of up to 256 access points provides complete wireless security and service solutions for any medium to large wireless network.
The WAC-2013 integrates a wide range of functions that allow administrators to easily configure APs, including tag-based VLAN settings. Furthermore, it enables AP firmware updates, AP status monitoring, and tracking the number of connected APs and users.
The WAC-2013 controller is also an internet gateway with a robust firewall to protect against intruders, with up to 4 WAN and 4 LAN ports at Gigabit speed enabling fast and reliable distribution of data in the network.
The LevelOne WAC-2013 also supports real-time control of signal strength and interference information. Based on these results, the WAC-2013 automatically regulates the traffic load, output power, RF coverage, and channel distribution of the access points to optimize radio coverage and data throughput.
