LINDY - video/audio/infrared extender

Cat.6 extenders allow for cost effective, reliable extension of audio or video signals over longer distances that are not possible with passive cable or active repeater solutions. The Lindy 70 m Cat.6 HDMI 10.2G and IR Extender is a simple to use solution which lets the user extend HDMI signals up to 70 m using a single low-cost Cat.6 U/UTP cable. For added convenience, IR signals (20-60 kHz) can also be extended using the supplied IR receiver and emitter cables.
Supporting 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit, video content can be seen with incredible clarity at distances up to 70 m, perfect for use in a variety of AV and digital signage applications in a range of settings including residential setups, education, business, retail and healthcare. This extender features an HDMI loop-out port on the transmitter for local simultaneous viewing so that a local display can be connected for monitoring or to create an additional viewing zone. To ensure the maximum compatibility when two displays are connected, the EDID data, which determines the supported video and audio formats, can be copied from either the local display connected to the transmitter or the remote display connected to the receiver.
Power over Cable (PoC) functionality enables the extender to operate from a single power supply connected to the transmitter, allowing the receiver to be located where there is limited access to mains power sockets, making it ideal for minimalist, discreet installations. In addition to PoC functionality the extenders slim design allow it to be easier to install in limited spaces behind flat screen monitors or TVs.
