Cartridges as part of the Lexmark return program
The Lexmark Return Program for ink cartridges and toner cartridges offers customers patented cartridges at a special price, provided the purchaser agrees to use the cartridge only once and return it to Lexmark for remanufacturing and/or recycling. Return Program cartridges are licensed for single use only and cannot be reused after a certain amount of toner/ink has been dispensed. A variable amount of toner/ink will remain in the cartridge when it needs to be replaced. The cartridge is designed to automatically update the printer“s memory to provide protection against counterfeit and/or unauthorized third-party cartridges.
