This allows hotspot operators to remain flexible and design access in a way that best fits their solution.

Flexible usage period and validity

The LANCOM Public Spot Option allows for flexible usage duration and validity of hotspots. Vouchers can be issued for a few hours, entire days, or weeks. You can also define a data limit, after which access becomes invalid or bandwidth is reduced. This offers maximum flexibility and control.

Voucher layout and registration portal in your own corporate design

The LANCOM Public Spot Option offers a wide range of configuration options, allowing for customization. The hotspot login page can be adapted to the hotspot operator“s corporate design. Custom banners, welcome texts, or even completely custom login pages can be created. This adds real recognition value to the hotspot.

Flexible interface structure

Thanks to extensive interfaces (APIs), the LANCOM Public Spot Option can be combined with external server solutions. It can be connected to external servers or property management systems (PMS) via XML, RADIUS, or FIAS. This allows, for example, internet costs in the hotel to be charged directly to the room, or guest user authentication to be performed using the room number.
