Designed for use in harsh environments such as amusement parks or stadiums, the OX-6400, housed in an extremely robust IP67-rated enclosure, meets the demanding requirements of high-density Wi-Fi and delivers a superior Wi-Fi 6 experience. Its Power over Ethernet passthrough functionality allows additional devices, such as IP cameras, to be integrated directly into the network via the access point with minimal installation effort.

Dual Concurrent Wi-Fi 6 with aggregate data rate of up to 3,550 Mbps
The LANCOM OX-6400 provides clients with WLAN in the Wi-Fi 6 standard (IEEE 802.11ax) simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. With Wi-Fi 6 technology, transmission speeds of up to 2,400 Mbps in 5 GHz and up to 1,150 Mbps in 2.4 GHz are possible.

PoE Passthrough – flexible power supply with minimal installation effort
The LANCOM OX-6400 can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to both IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt. When connected to a switch with IEEE 802.3bt PoE, the access point can also power another PoE-enabled device, such as an IP camera, via PoE passthrough. This allows the camera to be placed completely independently of available power outlets – minimizing the need for complex cabling in outdoor areas and simultaneously saving on installation costs.

The internal antenna design allows for easy device installation, as no additional external antennas are required.

Even when a product is discontinued, LANCOM“s Software Lifecycle Management program provides free major releases, critical security fixes (security updates) based on the latest available software version, and free technical manufacturer support for at least another 2 years.
