The LANCOM GS-3252P is equipped with 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP+ ports. With a backplane data throughput of 176 Gbit/s, it offers full performance even under heavy load. This makes the switch the foundation for modern network infrastructures with numerous end devices requiring moderate data throughput, such as printers or IP phones, that need to be integrated.

Central power supply without additional electrical installation
As a high-performance PoE switch, the LANCOM GS-3252P supplies connected PoE devices without the need for additional power supplies or cabling. It supports the Power over Ethernet standards IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) across 36 ports. With a total PoE output of 370 watts, it is ideal for efficiently powering PoE devices with moderate power requirements.

Static routing for fast data exchange
The LANCOM GS-3252P supports the fundamental Layer 3 function of static routing, thus offloading certain routing tasks from the router to the switch. Predefining network routes across one or more network segments enables faster data exchange, especially with high internal data traffic, and reduces the load on the router. The freed-up router capacity is then available to handle external data traffic, thereby increasing the overall network efficiency.

Cloud-managed LAN
The LANCOM Management Cloud paves the way for state-of-the-art switch management: cloud-managed LAN. The LMC orchestrates the port profiles of all switches and automatically assigns the necessary network configuration, such as VLANs. This ensures that all switch configurations are coordinated across locations, taking the network architecture into account, and can be deployed or updated with a single click.


DHCP server functionality
As a DHCP server, the switch is able to independently and automatically assign IP addresses to clients. The LANCOM GS-3252P supports this fundamental Layer 3 function and thus manages the IP address of the connected network.

Configurable access control
The LANCOM GS-3252P ensures that no unauthorized clients gain access to the network. This is made possible by secure access control on all ports according to IEEE 802.1X (port-based, single-, multi- and MAC-based).

Secure remote management
Thanks to secure communication protocols such as SSH, SSL, and SNMPv3, the LANCOM GS-3252P enables professional remote network management. Furthermore, the switch supports the TACACS+ protocol for authentication, authorization, and accounting. This is an ideal solution that promises maximum security, especially when managing and monitoring networks across multiple locations.

IPv6 and IPv4 support
Thanks to its dual-stack implementation, the LANCOM GS-3252P can be used in pure IPv4, pure IPv6, or mixed networks. Numerous applications such as SSL, SSH, Telnet, and TFTP can therefore also be run over IPv6 networks. IPv6 features such as stateless autoconfiguration, neighbor detection, and MLD snooping complete the IPv6 functionality.
