The LANCOM GS-2426P is the efficient LAN-side foundation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that require a reliable Layer 2 switching solution including Power over Ethernet (PoE). Its Layer 2 functionality, with VLAN support, QoS, and advanced security mechanisms, optimizes data traffic and protects the network from unauthorized access. Featuring 24 PoE+-enabled Gigabit Ethernet ports (IEEE 802.3af/at) and a total PoE output of 185 watts, the access switch powers connected devices such as IP cameras and access points – without the need for additional power supplies or complex cabling. Two additional combo ports (TP/SFP) enable flexible network expansion via fiber optic or copper connections. For easy management, a web-based GUI, a CLI, or the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) are available – ideal for centralized device configuration and automated rollouts.

Cloud-managed LAN with port templates and secure terminal access
With the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) and cloud-managed LAN, the LANCOM GS-2426P can be quickly and easily integrated into the network and configured automatically and across multiple locations with just a few clicks. Complex individual device and switch port configurations are now a thing of the past. Targeted switch rollout via the LMC enables automatic VLAN assignment to switch ports, including convenient switch port profiles, allowing for zero-touch device configuration.
Secure Terminal Access enables direct access to the LANCOM switch“s command line (“CLI Tunneling“) from within the LMC – encrypted and, most importantly, without leaving the cloud interface. Secure Terminal Access provides expert functions as well as comprehensive diagnostic and troubleshooting commands for the devices. Some highlights include: “Trace“ and “Ping“ commands for rapid troubleshooting, access to low-level configuration parameters and detailed statistics of the LCOS SX operating system, and secure remote access to external devices on the local network via the integrated SSH client.
