Managed Gigabit Access Switch with PoE+
The LANCOM GS-2426P is the efficient LAN-side foundation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that require a reliable Layer 2 switching solution including Power over Ethernet (PoE). Its Layer 2 functionality, with VLAN support, QoS, and advanced security mechanisms, optimizes data traffic and protects the network from unauthorized access. Featuring 24 PoE+-enabled Gigabit Ethernet ports (IEEE 802.3af/at) and a total PoE output of 185 watts, the access switch powers connected devices such as IP cameras and access points – without the need for additional power supplies or complex cabling. Two additional combo ports (TP/SFP) enable flexible network expansion via fiber optic or copper connections. For easy management, a web-based GUI, a CLI, or the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) are available – ideal for centralized device configuration and automated rollouts.

High performance across 26 ports
The LANCOM GS-2426P is equipped with 24 x 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports including PoE+ and 2 x combo ports (TP/SFP). With a data throughput of 52 Gbit/s on the backplane, it offers full performance even under heavy load. This makes the switch a powerful foundation for modern network infrastructures.

Cloud-managed LAN with port templates and secure terminal access
With the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) and cloud-managed LAN, the LANCOM GS-2426P can be quickly and easily integrated into the network and configured automatically and across multiple locations with just a few clicks. Complex individual device and switch port configurations are now a thing of the past. Targeted switch rollout via the LMC enables automatic VLAN assignment to switch ports, including convenient switch port profiles, allowing for zero-touch device configuration.

Secure Terminal Access enables direct access to the LANCOM switch“s command line (“CLI Tunneling“) from within the LMC – encrypted and, most importantly, without leaving the cloud interface. Secure Terminal Access provides expert functions as well as comprehensive diagnostic and troubleshooting commands for the devices. Some highlights include: “Trace“ and “Ping“ commands for rapid troubleshooting, access to low-level configuration parameters and detailed statistics of the LCOS SX operating system, and secure remote access to external devices on the local network via the integrated SSH client.

Central power supply without additional cabling
As a high-performance PoE switch, the LANCOM GS-2426P supplies power to connected PoE devices via 24 PoE+ ports. It supports the Power over Ethernet standards IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+). Thanks to its high power reserves and a total output of 185 watts, it is ideal for efficiently powering PoE devices.

Efficient energy saving and Layer 2 switching for stable network infrastructures
Thanks to energy-saving features based on IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet), the switch automatically deactivates unused ports and reactivates them instantly and without packet loss as soon as they are needed again – an effective measure for conserving valuable energy resources. However, efficient networks require more than just energy savings: High-performance Layer 2 switching with efficient MAC address-based data forwarding ensures a stable network infrastructure. Spanning Tree Protocols (STP, RSTP, MSTP) guarantee a redundant, yet loop-free network topology. Link Aggregation (LACP, IEEE 802.1ax) enables the bundling of up to 16 ports per group for improved load balancing. The Gigabit access switch supports up to 4,096 VLANs for flexible network segmentation, while Voice VLAN prioritizes voice data to ensure optimized Quality of Service (QoS) control. DHCP relay (options 66, 67, 82), on the other hand, simplifies the assignment of IP addresses across different network segments.

Configurable access control & secure remote management
The LANCOM GS-2426P ensures that no unauthorized clients gain access to the network. This is achieved through secure access control on all ports according to IEEE 802.1X (port-based, single-, multi-, and MAC-based) or access control via ACLs (Access Control Lists). Thanks to secure communication protocols such as SSH, SSL, and SNMPv3, professional remote network management is possible. Furthermore, the switch supports the TACACS+ protocol for authentication, authorization, and accounting. This is an optimal solution that promises maximum security, especially for managing and monitoring networks across multiple locations.

IPv6 and IPv4 support
Thanks to its dual-stack implementation, the LANCOM GS-2426P can be used in pure IPv4, pure IPv6, or mixed networks. Numerous applications such as SSL, SSH, Telnet, and TFTP can therefore also be run over IPv6 networks. IPv6 features such as stateless autoconfiguration, neighbor detection, and MLD snooping complete the IPv6 features.
