Combined with the LANCOM Management Cloud, the SD-WAN Gateway offers you all the possibilities for automatically setting up secure VPN connections (Auto-VPN) between locations, including network virtualization. Highlight features such as High Scalability VPN (HSVPN) and Advanced Mesh VPN provide you with a significant increase in scalability and efficiency for numerous branch offices and applications. Furthermore, if multiple WAN connections are defined, they are automatically operated in Active/Active mode (load balancing), thereby increasing the total available bandwidth. Dynamic Path Selection and Dynamic Traffic Steering also ensure that applications are dynamically routed via the best available connection.

WAN connectivity with VDSL supervectoring
The LANCOM 1803VA-4G offers full VDSL supervectoring support and is also backward compatible with VDSL2 and ADSL2+. Data rates of up to 300 Mbps are possible on existing copper lines.

This network segmentation, using ARF (Advanced Routing and Forwarding) and VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network), ensures that your entire corporate network remains protected, even if a network segment is compromised.

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) allow you to use the public internet as a communication channel while securing the connection so that communication remains completely inaccessible to outsiders. This SD-WAN gateway offers five integrated IPSec VPN channels for secure encryption, ensuring the protection of internal company data when connecting mobile employees, home offices, or branch offices. With the LANCOM VPN option, you can also upgrade the device to up to 25 VPN channels, allowing the infrastructure to easily grow as needed without additional hardware.

Professional, comprehensive telephony features
Equipped with the LANCOM VCM (Voice Call Manager), the LANCOM SD-WAN VoIP Gateway handles classic telephony management tasks and integrates all types of telephony components, such as SIP, ISDN, and analog. The LANCOM VCM also offers standard Session Border Controller (SBC) functions, enabling secure separation of external (insecure) and internal (secure) networks. Bandwidth reservation prioritizes voice packets for high call quality (Quality of Service). Furthermore, as a SIP proxy, the VCM provides professional management of signaling and voice data for enhanced security during call setup, execution, and termination, including necessary protocol conversion via transcoding. The VoIP Gateway conveniently handles the translation between ISDN, analog, and VoIP.
