This powerful VPN router allows you to work mobile regardless of the existing connection and therefore maximum flexibility. With integrated LTE-Advanced for up to 300 MBit/s and the parallel provision of an 11ac WLAN (Wi-Fi 5), it is ideal for flexible working and surfing for employees and guests as well as for secure VPN company connections while on the go. Alternatively, the router allows operation on an external modem thanks to the Gigabit Ethernet connection.

LTE Advanced with up to 300 MBit/s
With the integrated LTE modem, the LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ provides high-speed LTE with up to 300 Mbit/s. This allows, for example, the mobile use of the device and turns the LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ into a mobile conference room that can provide temporary and secure WLAN access to the company network.

WLAN according to IEEE 802.11ac
With the powerful WLAN, the LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ connects wireless clients in the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency range via IEEE 802.11ac up to 867 Mbit/s or in IEEE 802.11n with up to 300 Mbit/s. Thanks to Multi-SSID, several securely separated networks can also be set up.

Radically simplify configuration with SD-WAN
In combination with the LANCOM Management Cloud, the LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ opens the way for automated management. With software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), it enables the automatic setup of secure VPN connections between locations, including network virtualization even over long-distance routes: The VPN functionality is activated with a mouse click and the desired VLANs are selected for the respective location. The complex configuration of the individual tunnel end points is completely eliminated.

Automatic WLAN configuration with SD-WLAN
SD-WLAN allows the automatic configuration of multiple WLANs (multi-SSID), including network separation, e.g. B. for hotspots. All you have to do is define the SSID, authentication method and, if necessary, bandwidth limitation per WLAN. WLAN profiles created in this way are then simply rolled out or updated to any number of access points and WLAN routers at the desired locations with a mouse click.

High-speed internet thanks to Gigabit Ethernet
Thanks to the Gigabit Ethernet interface, the router is ideal for connecting to external modems. It therefore forms the basis for high-speed Internet access in branches, offices and home offices including LTE backup.

Secure site networking via VPN
The LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ offers a high level of security. The 5 already integrated IPSec VPN channels guarantee maximum encryption, the secure connection of mobile employees and the protection of internal company data. With the LANCOM VPN option, the router can be upgraded with up to 25 VPN channels. This means the network is optimally scalable and the infrastructure grows as needed - without additional hardware components.

Stateful Inspection Firewall
Equipped with a stateful inspection firewall, the LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ protects the entire network. With features such as intrusion prevention and denial of service protection, the business VPN router ensures optimal protection so that all data on the network is safe.

Advanced Routing & Forwarding
The LANCOM 1780EW-4G+ provides up to 16 securely isolated and separately routed IP contexts. An elegant way to run all IP applications via a central router and to securely separate the different communication channels from one another.
