Enlarged contact area
The copper contact area of the heatsink, measuring 70x56mm, is more than twice the size of that of the standard desktop model. Tailored to the enormous integrated heat spreaders (IHS) of AMD“s TR5/SP6-based processors, this design enables optimal heat flow from the CPU, across the base plate, to the heat pipes, and on to the cooling fins.

PWM support and splitter cable
The NF-A15 140mm premium fans included with the NH-U14S TR5-SP6 support PWM for convenient automatic speed control via the motherboard, allowing them to run almost silently under low load and only speed up when needed. The included splitter cable enables simultaneous power and control of both fans via a single fan header on the motherboard.

SecuFirm2™ bracket for TR5-SP6
The NH-U14S TR5-SP6 combines the proven foundation of the TR4-SP3 model with new mounting brackets that meet the increased pressure requirements of AMD“s TR5/SP6 (sTRX5/sWRX9) socket. Installation is as simple as ever: place the heatsink on the socket, tighten the four spring-loaded Allen screws with the included tool – done!

Offset mounting options
The SecuFirm2™ mounting system for TR5/SP6 sockets allows the cooler to be offset by 3 or 6 mm. On motherboards with an east-west oriented socket, this can be used to move the cooler to the right, increasing the clearance to the I/O panel. On motherboards with a north-south oriented CPU socket, the cooler can be moved towards the top edge of the motherboard to increase PCIe clearance.
