The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E Wi-Fi Set turns any power outlet into a fast and secure gigabit network connection. Gigabit Powerline speeds of up to 1,200 Mbps and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology deliver significantly more robust connections, greater ranges, and higher data throughput. The device duo also includes a Wi-Fi AC+N access point with speeds of up to 1,266 Mbps for wirelessly connecting smartphones, tablets, and notebooks to the home network. Gigabit-class Powerline
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN Set reliably connects network-capable devices such as computers, televisions, and game consoles in the home network, even over long distances, via ultrafast Gigabit LAN. Networking via the electrical wiring makes long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings a breeze. Compared to Powerline adapters in the 500 and 200 Mbit/s class, the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables significantly greater transmission capacity and more robust connections – while maintaining high energy efficiency. This allows multiple demanding broadband applications to be used simultaneously.

Fast Wi-Fi AC+N
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E adapter in the set expands the Wi-Fi in the home network with gigabit speeds. This allows Wi-Fi to be provided conveniently, securely, and flexibly via Powerline, even in rooms far from the router. The set is ready for Wi-Fi Mesh with an installed FRITZ!Box. With maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy connection of Wi-Fi devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), and data rates of up to 866 Mbps (Wi-Fi AC) + 400 Mbps (Wi-Fi N), the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E Wi-Fi Set offers plenty of convenience and flexibility for wireless surfing.

Powerful 2x2 MIMO technology
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E Wi-Fi Set is ideal for broadband-intensive network applications, such as transmitting HD videos (including 3D), as well as fast internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connectivity, and video on demand. Even long distances between devices do not affect transmission quality. 2x2 MIMO technology enables up to 60% greater range in the electrical network by using two wire pairs simultaneously. If both wire pairs cannot be used simultaneously, the automatic selection of the better-performing wire pair (diversity) ensures robust powerline transmission.

Simple and safe from the factory
A standout feature of FRITZ!Powerline products is their custom pre-encryption, which enables immediate, secure setup. As soon as FRITZ!Powerline is plugged into the respective power outlets and connected to the FRITZ!Box and the devices to be networked via LAN cable, the powerline network is established with custom AES 128-bit encryption (plug & play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN Set is compatible with current devices in the 1,200, 500, and 200 Mbit/s class. Updates are easily performed via the FRITZ!Powerline program or the FRITZ!Box user interface.
