Full-Layer 3 routing for fast data exchange
The LANCOM GS-4530XUP is fully Layer 3 capable with policy-based dynamic routing via OSPF, enabling dynamic network routes across one or more network segments. This significantly increases network efficiency, for example, in mesh networks with multiple aggregation switches at different locations.
Hardware redundancy
The LANCOM GS-4530XUP, with its hot-swappable power supply unit (PSU), allows for quick and uninterrupted replacement of the power supply in case of a failure. A separate slot allows for the addition of a second PSU. Integrating two redundant power supplies enables, for example, highly fail-safe scenarios or the pooling and thus doubling of PoE power.
