The new Gigaset Repeater HX doubles the DECT range of Gigaset base stations, thus enabling uninterrupted telephone calls with perfect voice quality across floors and large rooms.
Prepared for the future
The additional implementation of the CAT-iq standard, as is the case with all Gigaset HX universal handsets, ensures compatibility with DECT/CAT-iq routers that support the new ETSI Repeater Standard (ETS300700 V2.1.1). This makes the Gigaset Repeater HX ready for future router generations.
Features for increased security
Thanks to the new Early Encryption feature, encryption takes place before every call is transmitted. This ensures a particularly high level of security for telephony at work or at home. The Re-Keying function – changing the session key or encryption key of an ongoing conversation – also provides additional data security. The Gigaset Repeater HX continuously modulates the security key even during a call. The device also supports software updates via over-the-air (SUOTA). These technologies allow the Gigaset Repeater HX to comply with the current standards of the European Telecommunications Institute.
