The Unique series network cabinets were designed and manufactured for exceptionally convenient and flexible network cabling. Thoughtful optimizations provide market-compliant stability with maximum flexibility. A modular base chassis, accessible via bolted 483 mm (19“) blanking plates, offers ample space for all types of cables. Rear brush strips above and below the rear door (from 26U upwards) enable use in a wide variety of application scenarios. Generous vertical cable channels with cable guides and a cover, integrated into the front panel (from 800 mm cabinet width), perfectly complement the network cabinet“s diverse features. Two pairs of offset and galvanised 483 mm (19“) mounting rails, labeled with counter-clockwise readable height units, are installed inside. They are infinitely adjustable and connected to additional depth braces within the cabinet. Each cabinet is a robust steel construction made of sheet steel up to 1.5 mm thick. The cabinets are finished with electrostatic powder coating in the standard colors gray (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). Modular, lockable, and removable side panels and doors improve accessibility. The door hinges can be reversed. Furthermore, the cabinets can be completely disassembled if necessary due to their modular design. Depending on the application, all DIGITUS® Unique network cabinets can also be used as server cabinets, taking into account factors such as the weight and heat generation of the installed components. In such configurations, the installation of perforated steel doors ensures improved passive cooling of the installed components. For example, a model defined by DIGITUS® as a server cabinet in the standard configuration of the Unique Server-N series is additionally equipped with rear PDU mounting brackets.
