The Gryphon 4500 series impresses with its modern, elegant design and user-friendly ergonomics. Thanks to its innovative 2D imager, which uses warm white light, it captures both 1D and 2D codes quickly and reliably.
For reading smaller, short codes, there are HD models with high resolution, and for capturing digital watermark codes, there are variants with red light optics.
Equipped with Datalogic“s Motionix motion sensor technology, the scanner automatically enters handheld mode when picked up. Once placed back in its dock, it switches back to presentation mode. The dock is movable, allowing the scanner to be used as a presentation scanner while charging.
The radio models are available with Bluetooth technology (GBT model) or narrowband radio based on Datalogic“s STAR Cordless System (GM model).
One of the most important innovations for the Gryphon 4500 is its inductive charging technology. This ensures greater reliability while simultaneously reducing overall costs, as maintenance and cleaning of the contacts are eliminated. The wireless models can be used in 24/7 operation without interrupting work processes for cleaning and maintenance.
