The user-friendly web interface of the DGS-1100 switches allows for convenient control of Layer 2 functions such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and static link aggregation. With its robust security features, including IGMP snooping, static MAC addresses, and storm control, the DGS-1100 series is versatile and suitable for environments requiring quick and easy-to-deploy solutions without added complexity.
Easy setup and management
The free D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) displays all connected devices and simplifies initial configuration. The free D-View 7 Network Management System includes a license for 25 nodes and 2 probes, as well as full access to all management tools. Optional upgrade licenses allow you to expand your network and analytics capabilities.

The DGS-1100 Smart series comprises a range of PoE-enabled switches with high power budgets for businesses that want to operate a larger number of VoIP phones, wireless access points, or network cameras in this way.
Simple troubleshooting
The DGS-1100 series offers loopback detection and cable diagnostics, helping network administrators to quickly and easily find and resolve network problems.
Loopback detection identifies loops generated by a specific port and automatically shuts down the affected port. The cable diagnostics function allows network administrators to quickly check the quality of copper cables, determine the cable type, and identify cable faults.

Thanks to D-Link Green technology, the DGS-1100 Smart series can save power without any functional limitations. The majority of the product family operates silently and energy-efficiently without a fan. All switches comply with the IEEE 802.3az standard and offer connection status detection as well as scheduled PoE (with the exception of the DGS-1100-05PD and DGS-1100-08P models).
