The LU935“s high-performance laser projection utilizes a dual color wheel system to achieve unparalleled color performance, reaching 92% color coverage according to Rec.709. By increasing the color ratio and purity of the RGBY colors, the LU935 dramatically improves color saturation, resulting in outstanding presentation quality.

Large H/V lens shift for various placements
The LU935“s large 2-way lens shift system can be used to correctly align the image, shifting it by up to 60% vertically and 23% horizontally in relation to the size of the screen; in this way, it delivers perfectly proportioned images, even when installation or placement in any location is difficult.

The 1.6x zoom for efficient upgrades and installations
With its 1.6x zoom, the LU935 allows businesses to replace outdated projectors without repositioning existing ceiling mounts and easily place the new projector in any room to project large-format images. The 1.6x zoom enables the LU935 to be mounted 3.5 to 5.6 meters from the screen and project images up to 120 inches in size, the typical image size for corporate meeting rooms, thus avoiding costly renovations or installation downtime.

360° rotation projection
The BenQ LU935 can be tilted vertically at any angle, allowing projection onto the ceiling, walls, floor or slanted signs to enable presentations in company rooms of any size.

Advanced image calibration for ideal projection alignment
The LU935 features a two-dimensional keystone correction range of ±30° on both the horizontal and vertical axes to counteract the trapezoidal effect that often occurs when the projector has to be installed off-center. Installers can use the Corner Fit control to adjust each corner accordingly, achieving perfectly aligned image geometry.

Display resolution switch for multi-display compatibility
Users can change the LU935“s native resolution from WUXGA to 1080p by switching the display resolution. This increases compatibility with 16:9 screens in multi-display projection setups and allows existing 16:9 projector screens to be replaced. When the native resolution is set to 1080p, the digital lens shift function is enabled, providing a total lens shift range of up to ±72% of ±62% vertically. This allows the installer to fine-tune and align the images, resulting in significant setup time savings.

Installers and IT managers can assign a unique remote control ID to each projector to prevent signal interference and unintentional changes when installing multiple projectors in a venue.

The design has passed the dust chamber test for the international IP5X dust protection rating. It effectively prevents color wheel sensor failure, visible image spots, and color degradation, significantly reducing service costs and downtime.

HDBaseT for uncompressed transmission and control
The LU935 utilizes groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity, which combines video, audio, RS-232, and LAN control signals from multiple sources, including PCs and laptops: PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray players, and DVDs, all on a single RJ-45 cable. This ensures seamless transmissions up to 100 meters.

Compatibility with third-party networks / web controls
The LU935 is widely compatible with leading projector control systems such as Extron, Crestron, and PJ-Link, enabling network control over LAN and facilitating easy integration into enterprise network infrastructure. Where no LAN infrastructure is available, the LU935 also supports RS-232 for reliable installations over distances of up to 15 meters.

For users who want to remotely control all their screens over a LAN, the DMS Local software is available for download. DMS Local is a device information and management software used in the Windows operating system. DMS Local also supports agent mode, which allows users to integrate DMS Local settings with the cloud-based DMS Cloud.
