Because this happens automatically with an APC UPS, you prevent unwanted downtime of, for example, PCs, servers, or switches. Manage your Smart-UPS

PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS network management card to protect Windows, Linux, and host ESXi systems, as well as hyperconverged and virtual infrastructure*. Rack/Tower convertible
The APC Smart-UPS SMX is rack/tower convertible. Since both the feet and rack mounts for the front posts are included, you can mount it in a 4U rack or stand it upright. If you prefer to mount it to all four rack posts, order the optional SU032A.
Extend the lifespan
The internal battery cartridge (APCRBC143) can be easily, safely, and independently replaced by the user. This can be done without having to turn off the APC SMX3000HVNC or connected devices. This allows you to extend the lifespan of your APC Smart-UPS easily and cost-effectively, ensuring your devices remain online at all times.
Warranty extension
The manufacturer“s warranty for the SMX3000HVNC is 3 years, except for the battery, which has a 2-year manufacturer“s warranty. Both can be extended by 3 years to 6 and 5 years respectively with the APC Service Pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-05).
Switched socket groups: Remote restart and gradual start
Thanks to Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure phased/delayed power-on for each UPS output group. This reduces the peak load on the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, thus limiting UPS oversizing.
It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outputs and the devices connected to them. When using a network card (ap9640) in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this is even possible remotely.
You also cannot eliminate critical loads; this will only extend the runtime of critical equipment.
