With a depth of only 30 or 38 centimeters, the RS1221+/RS1221RP+ is ideal for use in confined spaces. With over 100,000 4K random read IOPS and 2,315 MB/s sequential read throughput, the RS1221+/RS1221RP+ can effortlessly handle even demanding applications in data-intensive environments. The redundant power supply also protects the RS1221RP+ against power failures.

Compact design
The RS1221+ and the RX418 expansion unit are particularly compact for space-saving use in confined spaces. At 30 cm, they are only half the depth of standard 2U devices and fit perfectly in rack stands or narrow racks. The RS1221RP+ with dual power supplies also fits into most narrow racks with a depth of 38 cm.
