With a depth of just 30 and 38 centimeters, respectively, the RS1221+/RS1221RP+ is ideal for deployments in tight spaces. With over 100,000 4K random read IOPS and 2,315 MB/s sequential read throughput, the RS1221+/RS1221RP+ can easily handle even demanding applications in data-intensive environments. The redundant power supply further protects the RS1221RP+ against power outages.

Compact design
The RS1221+ and the RX418 expansion unit are particularly compact for space-saving use in tight spaces. At 30 cm, they are only half the depth of conventional 2U devices and fit perfectly in rack stands or narrow racks. The RS1221RP+ with dual power supplies, at 38 cm deep, also fits most narrow racks.
