The SA6400 grows flexibly with your storage needs. With the RX1223RP expansion units, each with 12 bays, the capacity can be increased up to 9 times.

Out-of-Band Management (OOB)
The dedicated out-of-band management console allows you to remotely power your server on and off, reset and force a restart, or view DSM system logs (historical and real-time), even if the device is powered off or the primary network is down.

Redundant power supplies reduce the risk that a power outage in a circuit or power distribution unit will affect data and availability.
Failover cluster

SMB/NFS implementation as needed
Use SMB or NFS protocols for efficient access to business files over LAN or VPN. Manage data access with access control lists (ACLs) via Active Directory/LDAP integration and protect files from tampering, loss, or deletion with the integrated snapshot technology.
Secure synchronization of files and folders between locations
Ensure that up-to-date copies of important documents and data are always available locally for branch offices by synchronizing Synology systems with Synology Drive ShareSync in one or both directions. Update files across locations whenever changes are made, so everyone involved is always on the same page.

Snapshot Replication enables configurable point-in-time snapshots of shared folders and LUNs with an RPO of only 5 minutes and recovery in seconds.
